My favourite recipe : Baked Herbed Fries

I love potatoes. This is one of my favourite potato recipe and also one of the easiest to do. Coated with olive oil and herbs and baked in a hot oven, these fries are soft and buttery inside and crisp on the outside. Such a perfect combination anytime, anywhere.

What you need :

4 large potatoes (cut into wedges)

6 teaspoons olive oil (extra-virgin would be nicer)

1 tablespoon of thyme

1 tablespoon of salt (sea salt would be nicer)

Few sprinkles of ground pepper

Few sprinkles of garlic / onion powder (optional)

A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

*Recipe is for 6 servings

What to do :

Preheat oven to 220°C. Mix well potato wedges with oil, thyme, salt, pepper, garlic/onion powder and cayenne pepper. Spread the wedges on a baking tray. Bake until golden and tender, turning once, about 20-30 minutes in total.

*Estimated cooking time : 30 minutes
